TiE Atlanta Angels is excited to kick off its 2023 ACCESS program, the entrepreneurship program that is bridging the mentoring and investment gap for underrepresented founders.
While women- and minority-owned companies are trailblazing the entrepreneurship scene, access to capital, mentoring, and the right network remains as barriers. ACCESS aims to set the stage for founders to present their products or service to established angel investors from TiE chapters.
Additionally, ACCESS awards female and/or minority founders whose ventures deliver measurable positive change(s) that address a pressing social challenge/need with one-time non-dilutive Social Impact Grants.

TiE Atlanta Angels invested over $100,000 initially in Fall 2017 and another $100,000 in follow-on rounds into 2ULaundry, an early-stage company begun by college founders that is disrupting the world’s most hated household chore…laundry!
2ULaundry offers a pickup and drop-off service for laundry and dry cleaning while ensuring high quality cleaning and a user experience that results in repeat business. Having proved the business model in Charlotte, 2ULaundry expanded into Atlanta in Q4 2017.
However, the laundry/dry-cleaning business proved very difficult during Covid, so the founders pivoted by adding a franchising model in 2020 using the LaundroLab brand and closed a $20 million Series B round recently: CLICK HERE The company now plans to add 25 stores, 350 jobs and continue expanding into new cities across the US.
